Lilies? Does that make you think of the lovelies that may be flourishing in your yard right at this moment?

They are elegant, light, and add that touch of magic to any garden-scape.

The lilies here fit that description as well.---most resembling the calla lily.

I do hope you give them a try.

My sister's recipe

My sister would make these when I was a young girl and would visit her n Pennsylvania where she lived at the time.

One of the first things I would ask for upon my arrival was lilies..And she would almost always say: "Ok, Padi Kay, I knew you would be asking for them so let's get started."

They are fun to make and delightful to enjoy when they are ready to eat. Yum, yum,and yum.

Think what a better world it would be if we all, the whole world, had cookies and milk about three o'clock every afternoon and then lay down on our blankets for a nap.

Lilies already to scoop up that luscious whipped cream

A Little Crunchy, delightfully tender

The cookie batter will be the consistency of pancake batter. It will seem too runny but if they look like the picture on this page, then you nailed it.

This is a perfect ending to a heavy meal. Maybe you have served a bit over the top meal. Everyone has rested a bit and a little bit of sweetness would punctuate the evening. It will be fun if you make them while the guests are there. Hot lilies are the best. It can be a gather around in the kitchen time as you have guests help with preparation.

Out comes the highlight of the evening. A little bit of crunchy, but delightfully tender along with the warmth, and the smooth, cool whipped cream will leave everyone asking for another one. They taste like m o r e.
